Sammy Spider
(February 14, 2016) I was commissioned for a project with the 92Y Shababa of the 92nd St Y in NYC. I made this spider puppet based on the main character, "Sammy Spider" from a Jewish children's book series by Sylvia A. Rouss. The spider had a very "Eric Carle" type of look. The puppet is being used in a classroom with students as well as a part of the promotions for this original production of "Sammy Spider's First Mitzvah-The Musical"

The puppets had to be based on characters from one of the 2015 summer blockbuster movies. All entries had to be posted by September 30, 2015 and the judges decided on a winner on October 20, 2015. {Full Contest Rules}

Peter Rabbit
(April 2015) I was hired by The Drawbridge Puppet Theater in Lunenburg, Massachusetts to build three vegetable puppets for their upcoming production of "Peter Rabbit". I built a carrot, raddish, and cabbage puppets, all around 8 inches tall, that would do a little song and dance, a couple specific movements, and then get eaten by Peter Rabbit.
